Memories in storms

Here is a picture I took in Brooklyn from my dorm room of a random storm around 6:30pm. I was almost hanging out of my window trying to catch one of these lightning strikes that were stretching across the sky. I lived in Florida for 13 years and I miss the tropical storms that would trap me at my friends house and we would run down the street in deadly lightning storms. Amazing to view, frightening to be in.

Greatest fear #2: Caught outside in a thunderstorm.

A new found particle changes the way we know matter

This is interesting, this just shows that ya scientists know a lot, but sometimes they do not know everything, as in saying "rules change". Science gets old, and things get discovered that alters everything we once knew, it is hard for the public to be able to change the way we once knew things and what we were taught in school. I think it would be hard for people to change their way of thinking about the rules if the ideas of what matter is would do a complete flip.

Fuyuko Matsui art

Fuyuko Matsui is an amazing artist that uses the traditional Japanese style Nihonga  to paint Japanese women as seen through what she feels and how it feels to be a woman. Many of her paintings are of women who are disfigured and surrounded by either animals and or flowers. Japanese woman are second class no matter what in Japan and she says she is not a feminist but just shows how she feels. I think most of today's art is cute and what makes Japan different are it's ghostly traditional silk paintings that really define Japan's wonderful culture.

America and Nazi eugenics

SOO I am doing a paper on the evolution of allure and selection and I came across surprising information about eugenics and the roots with America and Nazi eugenics. This information completely turned my ideas around about beauty and why art has played a critical role with eugenics and weeding out the "weak" and unfavorable blood lines. Now I see the role of beauty and people with art in our society today and in our past. Not all of it can relate but man this is surprising to read. I will be more shocked if this were all really true.

Design and Memes

I don't know, I think it is a possibility that this is true. My mind is open to new possibilities and sciences. Memes and Temes Memes and Temes!!! Don't get me wrong I love individuality, but biological and cultural evolutions have been here before those first cave paintings.
