Here is a picture I took in Brooklyn from my dorm room of a random storm around 6:30pm. I was almost hanging out of my window trying to catch one of these lightning strikes that were stretching across the sky. I lived in Florida for 13 years and I miss the tropical storms that would trap me at my friends house and we would run down the street in deadly lightning storms. Amazing to view, frightening to be in. Greatest fear #2: Caught outside in a thunderstorm.
